Musical Style/Genre: “We always tell people we're electronic pop because it's kind of a catchall for the sounds we explore. But our sound has changed quite a bit, especially since we've started working on the album. We've heard a lot of different genres coming out – there's lots of rock, a little jazz, and some good ambience, maybe even some funk. But to keep it simple I'd say we're electronic pop, dream pop, synth pop. All the pops.”

Influences & Inspirations: With five members in the band, Mungbean’s influence stems from a wide range of music & art. They love Frank Ocean, Solange, Nai Palm/Hiatus Kaiyote, The 1975, Pavement, The Japanese House and Japanese Breakfast to name a few.

Advice to Your Younger Self: “Invest in Bitcoin. Don’t ever leave your musical equipment in the car. If you’re going to be your biggest critic you should also be your biggest cheerleader.”
